The Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) is for international students seeking admissions to Primary 2 to 5 and Secondary 1 to 3 in the following academic year.
International students who were formerly studying in our mainstream schools should approach our Customer Service Centre for assistance.
Depending on your child’s performance in the test, they will be offered a place in a local mainstream school. By July 2022, you can check here for details on:
The reporting period may be adjusted accordingly in response to developments in the COVID-19 situation.
Applicants who do not report to the offered schools within the reporting periods may have their places offered to other applicants.
They do not need to apply for a Student’s Pass (STP). Their admission can be confirmed immediately upon reporting to the offered school.
Their admission is subject to them obtaining a STP.
In this case, your child will receive a STP Registration Acknowledgement Letter (RAL) from the school. You are advised to apply for their STP with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) as soon as possible upon receiving the RAL so that your child can start school as early as possible.
You may refer to ICA for more information , including the requirements for local sponsorship.

GST at the prevailing rate is chargeable on these fees.
You can submit your application from July 2022. Applications may close early when all places for the admissions tests are filled.

Your child has to arrive by the reporting time stated on their entry proof and sit at their assigned desks at least 15 minutes before the tests begin. They are required to bring along the following documents:
For AEIS-Primary, your child needs to be familiar with the Mathematics topics taught in our mainstream schools for the level preceding the one that they applied for.
For example, if your child wishes to seek admission to Primary 3 and is assigned the Primary 2/3 test, they should be familiar with Primary 2 content.
For AEIS-Secondary, your child needs to be familiar with the English and Mathematics topics taught in our mainstream schools for the level preceding the one that they applied for.
